I have been sitting back on the forums for a little while and tonight i wanted to make my first post!
This is our story so far
We bought a block of land about a year ago and tomorrow the 13th of November 2008 our block is being cut YAY...!
We are building with an "unknown builder" .
Mr pinkapples and I designed our home from scratch, with the help of many little features of display houses. I would say its kinda like Adenbook's Lakewood and a plantation house but most of it is own own design.
I just made a blog also and will have to add it to the blog section.
Cant wait to start posting more.

Hi Kylie and Brett, how are you both? It is so exciting building your first home, i have been there done that and am very keen to do it again one day. I am from Brisbane but now live in the beautiful Hervey Bay.
I would love to see your blog, you should put it on here. I hope you are putting pictures of the different stages of your house as it is being built.
