Moving house

Page 1 of 1
Hi,

* My house in Truganina, Melbourne is almost ready.

* I need 3 things:
1. Removal - 2 people to unload furniture from a truck.
2. Electrician - someone to install light globes & other small applicants.
3. Handy man - Install curtain and its support.

* Does anyone have a good recommendation?
you will find a lot of time you are the one ended up doing those 3 things.

I can't help but have to ask if you are in anyway handicapped and moving alone you really need to pre-arrange your move with either your friends or get an all-rounder handyman to work with you.

getting 3 different contractors to do those jobs will cost you a lot more, and i suspect any contractor in their right mind would come all the way to install light globes, or install curtain for you.

I am dead serious and truthful with my suggestion please do not take this offensive.
in our local papers theres always handymen looking for little jobs...have a look in your paper im sure you will b able too find help and im sure it wont cost too much,
or even if you know a couple of teenagers looking for a bit of pocket money,if you know you can trust them ask them for a bit of help...
good luck im sure you will find somebody...
Maybe call hire a hubby? for removals just call a few removalists but be prepared to pay for it, they aren't cheap. I also assume you need them to load the truck too?

One thing about the Electrician though.
You don't (In Vic at least not sure but can't this would be different in other states) need an electrician to install globes or Batten fix light shades/fittings. You only need a sparkie if you have to remove the part of the fitting the light actually fits into.
