Window Frame Replacement.

Hi All,

Quick question, can you remove an old aluminum window frame without damaging the internal timber sill? What I mean by this is, can the frame only be removed and replaced by keeping the old timber casement inside the opening walls.

(Brick veneer construction here)

I recently spent a crap load of time, re-trimming and painting internally. I don't want to redo all my hard work. I just want the window taken out and replace.

I need a pic, but my guess is the timber frame is integral to the window and your new window will come with one as well...
