painted or stained glass doors separating kitchen from larde

hi guys up to putting in the glass sliding doors between kitchen and larder. Was getting them stained, then painted "designer white". But have seen on here tonigt a stained one with white surrounds. The glass backdoor that leads from the larder is stained. The floors are going to be blackbutt timber. So a bit confused as to what would look nice. Any suggestions?
