Has anyone else had to seal merbau door sills? If so, what did you use?
Oil based varnish.

That's what I was afraid of - yet another different can of varnish! Dare I ask if anyone has successfully used a water-based varnish on merbau door sills, keeping in mind that some of them are protected from the elements and some not?
