DIY holland blinds - any thoughts??

We're thinking of measuring and ordering custom made holland blinds on the internet and having a go at hanging them ourselves because it seems to be very economical. I'd like to hear from anyone who has done this and what their experience was i.e. good, bad, indifferent. Thankyou
Last 2 houses I have done that. Where are you building? I am in WA so it is double brick with steel lintels on the inside. The steel lintels are a pain but picked up a few tricks by the time I didi the second lot. If you have steel or timber framing inside it should be alot easier and quite a simple process.

Assuming the structure of your cabinetry is good then I would DIY everything as follows: - replace your counter tops entirely, - replace all drawer runners with soft close…
