Blinds under or over Plantation Shutters

Hi... newbie here.

We really loved plantation shutters and have then in 2 large windows in living room. Looks great, but obviously can't block light properly. Now we're thinking of putting a roller blinds on top of shutters for those 2 windows. I found a UK company that do block-out blinds in the shutters - https://youtu.be/Iux2tYZ9g2I

This would have been perfect, but can't find a similar product or company in Australia.

Has anyone tried putting up roller blinds over your plantation shutters, do you regret it?

Has anyone found a company who can do the blockout blinds to sit inside the shutters?

Thanks!
If there is space you can fit a roller-blind between the shutter and the window.
Hi, i had this same problem and i went to motorise my blinds on the gold coast and they sorted me out. I ended up using a honeycomb blind behind the chutter. here is a link to their website

You can put a roller blind behind the shutters. It will be much less noticeable when not in use.
