Heat pump water heater

Hi all,

Does any one use a heat pump water heater?

I am looking at the Dux subzero and the Rheem.

How quite is 50db? are they ok or is that noisy?

Cheers
Hi metter, we have the Dux, not sure when you are looking to purchase - we are moving in next week, so will be able to report back as to quiteness in a couple of weeks....
50dbi is like a normal voice level.

Solar is much quieter and lots cheaper to run.

Here is an article on how heat pumps work -

Do I need an electrician to remove this wall heater?

General Discussion

Just wondering if this is hardwired or can I remove it myself?
