A/C suggestion

Good day guys. Just after some suggestion for a split system A/C to go to a 3 bedroom,109 sq.m. house. We currently can't afford to get evap ducted so we thought split will do for now. We just bought this house so we are in a budget but want to be nice and cool for summer, so any input will be appreciated. Thanks.

I have a newish Lennox split system inverter in this rental I am in and I love it. They are the leading brand in Canada for heaters and aircon I believe. Just make sure you get one powerful enough! oh and split systems are more 1:1 ratio for room to system so don't expect it to cool the entire house really well but depending on installation location, size and strategically placed pedestal fans it could do more than just one room

we have one that does that area really nicely but to make it more efficient and save energy we close off doors to any rooms that arent being used when it's on. e.g. during the day I close off the master bedroom, bathroom, laundry, and kitchen then at night before going to bed I open the master bedroom to cool it down and then close off the living area when we go to bed so Im not cooling any rooms that arent in use. But we have a fairly traditional style house where most of the rooms open into the hallway so we have it mounted on a wall opposite one end of the hallway so it's directed towards the hallway to cool down multiple rooms and it works beautifully. It's one of the panasonic inverter ones, although Im not sure if they still sell our exact model but it cost around $1600 + install.
