Acoustic insulation- sound proofing help

Hello,
I’ve posted about this before but have installed some fixes since.
Issue: fibro cottage right on a very, very busy major road
Traffic noise is very bad through the day (non issues at night as the traffic is very slight after 8pm
*We have put floating floors down with acoustic underlay
* veridian v-lam hush 6.5mm laminated glass in all windows (helped only very slight amount)
*Sash windows sealed as best we could with foam tape
*New solid front door with seals
*All wall vents sealed up with builders expansion foam
Traffic Noise is still really loud 😩
Is there any easy way to retrofit wall insulation? A company I spoke to said blow in would work but my gut tells me we will need thick bats with high R rating (maybe I’m wrong though)
How difficult are these to retrofit? Will the internal plaster all need to be removed and replaced?
Will this even make much difference to the noise or be a drop in the ocean like the other fixes?
