New build what do with front and back garden

Ideas how to for planning a simple back and front garden with mostly grass and few fructose trees. Is best buy pre rolled grass or seeded your self or get land scraper in to do it?
Depends on how much money you have got left and how much time.
Seed is cheapest but most involved.
Turf is more expensive and still involves some effort on preparation.
Landscaper is no effort but very expensive.
