Plug screw holes second hand colorbond

I need to plug some screw holes in a verandah clad with second hand colorbond (classic cream on top/shale grey underneath).
Has anyone done this successfully - would welcome suggestions as to what to use to both withstand the weather and also disguise the fact that it is recycled tin.
Use Selley's Roof and Gutter silicon sealant in a matching colorbond colour.
Aren't there little plugs for this ?
Pop rivets with a small dab of silicon applied afterwards for waterproofing would be the best bet visually wise. If the sheets are not exposed underneath you could just put regular roofing screws in the holes, they will hold.
Use roofing silicon
