Garage roller door beeping - maintenance reminder
Page 1 of 1
I have googled how to turn it off and can only find instructions for the SD 800 which is a completely different system to the RD 800
The SD model instructions talk about a "P" button, the closest the RD 800 is maybe a learn button but I dont want to mess with the rest of the settings.
Could anyone help me with instructions to turn off the maintenance reminder!

Service/Maintenance Reminder
Models: RD800, RD1200
IMPORTANT-
The garage door and opener must be professionally maintained and serviced regularly in accordance with the instructions provided with the product, as a minimum every 12 months or 2,500 cycles.
This opener is pre-programmed with a service due reminder that will provide an audible indication that a service is recommended after 2,500 cycles.
The opener has the following three (3) service intervals: 1,500 cycles, 2,500 cycles and 3,500 cycles.
The opener will keep count of the number of operating cycles (an open and close of the door equals one cycle). Once the opener reaches the cycle count it will flash and beep eight 8 times, every time you open your door. This audible alarm is a reminder that a professional service is recommended. To reset the cycle count to zero (0) follow the instructions below.
Setting cycle count:
STEP 1.
Press and hold the “LIMIT” and “UP” buttons for 3 seconds until the UP LED flashes.

STEP 2.
Using the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons select the required cycle count notification selection in sequence:
- One beep = 1500 cycles
- Two beeps = 2500 cycles
- Three beeps = 3500 cycles
The unit will save the setting 2 seconds after selecting the desired time interval.
Is your opener beeping eight 8 times every time you open your door?
This is an important reminder that a professional garage door service is recommended to keep your garage door and opener in optimal condition.
A poorly maintained door can cause property damage and result in serious or fatal injury. Failure to properly maintain your garage door and opener may void your warranty.
Please contact the company that installed your opener. You can usually find their contact details on a sticker affixed to the back of your garage door."
