220v bar fridge as camping fridge

A while ago in Wegry was an article about some one who took a 90 litre bar fridge with an A-class power rating. Then they turn the compressor 90° and lay the fridge on its back. Place handles on the sides. Then ad an 220v inverter and use this setup for camping https://under-the-open-sky.com/best-coo ... r-camping/ . Who has done something like this and is it worth it?

I had a similar issue with my fridge not too long ago. It wasn't the same model, but the symptoms were pretty much the same: the compressor would start and then stop…
