Decking quote - Is this a good price?

I am decking a total area of 37m2 and want to know if this is a good quote. The decking will be in 90mm Merbau with 140mm boards around the borders for a picture frame effect. Pricing below:

* Main Deck 26m2
*Front Porch 11m2
(this will have a recessed section for doormat to be flush with floor)

TOTAL COST $7777.00

Is this a good price?

Ours cost $4500 doing it ourselves... if that helps for comparison?

thats good saving...wow Erin everytime I see these pictures I am more inspired to do my own decking..... . Any more pictures on how you guys managed to get the floor lights in on the side deck ?

love your decking 'just erin', especially how you recessed your door mat ... looks fantastic!

More rewarding doing it yourself. The lower section of deck was built first. The edge board was the first to go on, so Aaron drilled the holes for the lights and ran the wiring underneath first, then continued on with the decking boards afterwards. Does that make sense?
