Kitchen Mixer - Which to choose?

Our kitchen is being installed next week

so I need to make a decision about our kitchen tap

I am trying to decide between a Franke, Methven or Zucchetti Pull Out Kitchen Mixer - Has anyone got any feedback on these brands ?

I've put the Methven Minimalist pull out spring mixer in a few of my developments. Looks good, never had any problems with them.

This is what we are having in our house. I spoke with the Tradelink person and was recommended the Methven tap as it has a lifetime warranty and any of the ones that have been replaced have been done without any questions asked.

Timber or carpet on first floor- which looks good ?

Thank you. Do I use timber floorboards for stairs or do people use timber treads? Or is both the same?
