Laminex benchtop - wood lookalike

Hi everyone,

I wanted to have a timber benchtop in the kitchen and laundry but the maintenance issue puts me off.

So I thought perhaps a Laminex benchtop in a wood lookalike would suffice.

Does anyone have one of these wood lookalike Laminex benchtops in their house? Are you happy with the look of it? Does it look tacky?

Sarah
I've had one in the past and thought it looked tacky. I much prefer laminex when it isn't trying to be something else.
