Corner kitchen Cabinet gap - not flush - is this acceptable?

Hi all,

The kitchen cabinet at the corner has the below gaps?
The joiner says its for the corner cabinet to work. Disappointment to be honest.

Top Cabinet

Bottom Cabinet

It may just look worse than it is because the gap is backlit. Once the countertop is on and it's in shadow it mightn't look bad at all.
The gap can be adjusted so it's tighter.
You can definitely set up corner cabinets to have the same gap as standard doors.
