Gas Hotplate cutout on Stone Benchtop
Just wondering if I have a stone benchtop with a 900mm gas cooktop and wanted to change the cooktop to a new one also of 900mm width would the cut out be the same or do they vary depending on the cooktop?
You'll be in the ball park but it's not uncommon for them to vary by enough to cause difficulty.
Best thing is to try and look up the model number of the existing cooktop and get the cutout dimensions off their website, then try and find one with the same cutout.
You can get it cut bigger if you are happy to pay but obviously smaller is not the best.

Thanks for that chippy. I guessed that may be the case.
