Advice on outdoor kitchen cabinetry/materials

Hi everyone.
I am currently trying to decide on the type of material for our outdoor kitchen cabinets.
I was going to use the same profile doors that I am using in my kitchen and other cabinetry in my house so that it is all one style, however this is polyurethane and the kitchen company is advising against it.
They suggest we use a compact laminate available through Polytec:

However it's only available as a plain face, looks quite modern, there are limited colours and just won't fit in with the style of the build.
I suppose my question is, has anyone got an outdoor kitchen with polyurethane cabinetry and have you had any problems?
Thanks.
Will it be exposed to any direct rain or sun
No. The whole area is under cover, so no direct exposure to the rain or sun.
We do have those few days in summer that reach 40+ and in winter can experience frost in the mornings. Not sure how/if this would affect poly cabinets.
Personally I prefer to use full waterproof materials for my outdoor kitchens but if it is 100% undercover and will never get rain on it you can get away with using more traditional products.
The 2 pac paint itself is fine as it's the same as car paint, so it's the board it's sprayed onto that is the bigger issue.
If your cabinet maker is concerned get them to machine the doors out of the following material and then get them sprayed. I'd also build the carcass out of the same material. It's just the next step up from standard HMR board.

Hello

I am in the same position. What did you end up choosing?
One of the most popular choices is granite since it is porous and water resistant, but if you choose this option, avoid dark hues because they absorb heat and can make outdoor countertops unbearably hot to the touch. While some stones, like marble, are stunning, they are also prone to staining and fading over time.

I ended up sticking with the poly. I really didn’t want to compromise on the design!
