I got it from a local kitchen stone warehouse where they sell large slab of "carrara quartz stone" then had them custom cut and polished to size. 3m x 1.3
also custom made the dining base.

Beautiful, Vanilla! Love the black and white contrast. Can I ask what type of flooring you've used?

Really love this kitchen, it just sealed the deal for me.

During my kitchen appointment I asked for polar white silk with shark fin edges, no back splash or bench top, just a temporary chipboard bench top as the builder's kitchen place charged a bomb and I couldn't make up my mind if I wanted white marble stone or a black bench top to do the black and white thing. Our kitchen goes in at the end of this month and after seeing this I definitely want the black bench tops. Just need to choose the black tiles, may go for black marble look but love the gloss with white grout you have too!

It looks good for now but this is our first time living with (I assume) a low cost laminate.

Love it. I've got the same concerns about laminate flooring, we'll be building with it too. But all of the reviews I've read on here say it wears well (including with wear and tear with children and pets) so I'm hoping for the best.

Wow. Beautiful kitchens everyone. Mine is not quite finished - still have my concrete splashback to go, but here is a little glimpse of my island.

We just had our kitchen finished this weekend and I am in love with it.

We hand picked the exact slab of New York marble for the backsplash, back and side of island
Just waiting for the flooring to go down this week to see it all finished
