Have been wanting to do this for ages, so here it is...Our kitchen still hasn't been cleaned up as yet (hence the dust on the kitchen bench), but I think it's looking good so far. We've gone for a grey/black and white theme with walls painted Taubman's 'Precision'. The pantry, overhead cupboard and bench backing are all Laminex 'Zincworks' and the inside cabinetry are all Laminex 'Polar White'. We also supplied the rangehood (Robinhood brand) and builder’s supplied oven and stove (Blanco brand).

Hope you all like it

Ezi4few - you've got to be happy with that - looks fantastic. Lots of lovely drawers, colours work well together and love all those windows!! You will be one happy Masterchef!!
Nice, whats going on with the fridge overhead? looks like it was modified as it doesn't line up with the pantry with a bulkhead?

not criticizing, just interested to know from a design point of view.

The builders said that the pantry would could only go up 28c and as our ceilings go up to 31c, we couldn't afford to pay extra for the custom made pantry to reach that high up. We're okay with it, but completely understand what you mean as we asked the same query during prestart. Just waiting for the cornice to be painted and a few other 'adjustments' to the house and then I'll be cooking up a storm baby!

Thanks Mclaren!
I was worried about the colours as I thought on the samples it all looked a bit 'industrial', but hopefully when the floorings layed, it will add a bit of warmth to the space... *crosses fingers*
Ok, cool, a contractural thing.

I like that your cornice steps in over the fridge and back out. I think when it is painted up it will look a little more custom. All that bench space is a dream!!
EZ- I've got the 75cm version of that oven (has the same internal space with the controls above instead of the side) and I absolutely love it! Feeds a few really easily!

I actually wanted the 75cm Dee but they said would cost us more cause they didn't bulk buy that dimension. It just looked like there was more room internally with the 75cm vs.the 90cm...so really glad to hear there's not that much difference
Internally it's exactly the same- I paid an upgrade for mine instead of the 90cm which was standard-but I liked the balanced look better and it also meant that I could have a narrow cupboard next to the oven for all my trays.
Our house has been through it's first builder's clean, what a difference clean windows and benchtops makes.

Lovely, reminds me of Moogles kitchen
Views from all angles are gorgeous.
What is the recess in the ceiling for?
blackpaw loved the look of your diner kitchen.
especially liked your black bench, could you please tell me the brand and colour, been looking for same
effect but cant find it anywhere, thanks
hi Mrs Green, the recess in the ceiling houses 2 downlights and two yet to be chosen, pendant lights. It's just to break up the ceiling.

this photo shows it a bit better, though without the lights turned on.

Has anyone put smaller handles on their overheads cupboards and medium sized ones on the lower cupboards?

I have selected different sizes through the kitchen, and am now worried!

Thanks
Just the 3D's at the moment, but it will be fitted in some weeks
