Paint cracking advice

Hi All,

hoping to get some advice. i've got a wall that i'm painting and it's all fine but in one area it keeps cracking after a couple of days as per the image below.
Any suggestions on why it's cracking and what i could do to prevent it?

Thanks

Cracked paint can have a number of causes. For example, mud cracks usually indicate that too many layers of paint were applied on the surface or the wall was dirty. Hairline cracks, on the other hand, are indicative that the paint was cheap and had low adhesion or was spread too thinly

Paint colour help please

General Discussion

Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀

Thank you. That is really helpful. Once we get the place done and passed for OC we can upgrade in the future once we get back on our feet and not paying mortgage and rent.
