New 114-lot subdivision in Lenah Valley/West Moonah (Tas)

Not sure where the best place to post this would be, but thought it would be of interest:

Planning approval for a 114-lot subdivision has been submitted for the Lenah Valley/West Moonah part of Hobart. It is part of an area bounded by Lenah Valley Rd, Girrabong Rd, Ripley Rd, Sawyer Ave and Creek Rd. The subdivision covers three existing parcels by three different owners, one of which is in the Hobart City Council area, and the others in the Glenorchy City Council areas. It is notable in that it is within an already developed part of the suburbs, relatively close to the city centre.

Numerous documents (over 34 documents totalling over 50Mb) are available at the HCC site at:
http://www.hobartcity.com.au/content/InternetWebsite/Development/Planning/Advertised_Applications.aspx .. but only for 14 days from date of submission (2 days ago). Note many of the documents only refer to the 66 or so lots which are on the HCC side of the boundary – the GCC’s advertised approvals don’t appear to be available online.

Thought this may be of interest to potential home builders/investors!
Clearly by the response this isn't of great interest ... but anyway, here is a newspaper article in relation to it!

And another one ..

Expression of interest being sought to buy the land (with approved subdivision plans) - or be involved as part of a JV:

In case anyone is wondering about my interest in this, nothing personal or financial - I drive past this every day on the way to work so I see the signs etc going up. Being a rather large development for Hobart, I'm sure when the time comes we will see a few of the owners on here :)
Hi Chuq, i'm looking at potentially buying a house on Springfield Ave and just found your posts, thanks for putting them up. Have you heard any more recently about this land?

Cheers, Jane
Wow, nice to see someone else posting in this thread :)

Not much news, I have seen a red development application sign go up, but nothing on HCC's website. Just occurred to me that it may be for the GCC part of the land, who sadly don't have development applications online.
