Windows - is it worth upgrading with project builder

Looking for some advice as we are currently doing KDR with a project builder. Has anyone upgraded the thickness of the frames? As when we look at houses built by the builder, it's abit thin? Is this worth doing?
Project builders windows sometimes don't have rollers only plastic slides that you need to spray with silicone spray, if yours have these, upgrade if you can. Just a thought
Your correct ,ours are really chunky ,frames around 100mm wide, gives a look of solidity and quality to home.

Yes, wide and substantial window frames can make an even cheaply built home look like it has been well built, whereas thin and flimsy window frames can cheapen even a substantial home.

However, the idea is not just to make the windows look better, ideally, the first priority is comfort and performance, and then the consumer typically finds that any system which offers high performance is also visually stunning, design wise.
