I'm wanting to build a backyard studio/office in Brisbane. It doesn't need to have the fitout of a granny flat with toilet and kitchen. Just electricity. I want to build approximately a 5mx7m building. I've looked at sheds, granny flats and then found these down south http://inoutside.com.au/
Has anyone done something similar with building an office pod in Brisbane? Any builders who specialise in this?
Looking for experiences, recommendations etc. I would love to use the inoutside option but want to walk through something like that before I commit to it.

On cursory inspection of thir site, Supply cost appears to be $3000 per sq metre or so. 5- 8 day building time, so add $5-$8000 to that. Not cheap.

I would suggest you simply go and talk to council about your proposal, most councils are getting onboard with ancillary dwellings. There is no benefit in keeping it…
