I have used Google Sketchup to draw up my house and the land. I used the contours survey from my builder, which I imported in Sketchup. Have a look at my blog, in particular this post to get an idea: http://niko-niko-house.blogspot.com/201 ... -home.html
Mind you it takes a lot of time to get to that result.
