Service light in roof.

Hi, just had a ducted gas heating unit installed in our roof and was told by installers that it is a requirement to have a service light installed. Without this, service guys will not touch the unit. Never heard of this before and want to know if anybody else has been told this.
yes they are right. There also need to be a plat form for them to walk on.
adding a few others wil make any other work needed to do up thre easier aswell...
Did they say what sort of light it had to be Mikapi?
If you put a leadlight with a decent globe in the roof near the unit (total investment of twenty bucks from the hardware store) would this suffice?
True, I have four single 36 watt flouros in the roof, could just about read a book up there.

That was always going to be a challenge and a test of patience. Full marks to your mate. Did you discuss the wet area near the trampoline?
