Acrylic rendering with texture paint

Hi all, I recently got acrylic rendering with texture paint finish done at my place on the outdoor walls. The tradies finished the job and for the most part it looks okay. But there is this specific part where it looks really patchy as can be seen on the photo …… I am not sure if it is meant to be that way (which is what the tradies are claiming ).

Is that expected ? If not how to fix it now ?

Probably 2 things there:

Too much water in texture

And probably touched wall after floating it, poor workmanship.,

Painting will bring colour to uniform appearance

If want to re-texture, will have skim with patch first then apply texture
