Where can I find Fibre Cement flooring and Cladding Deals?

Starting a new project and looking for alternatives to Yellow Tongue. Yellow tongue gets damaged easily with a bit of rain, and doesn’t hold up well. Clients wants to do the entire floor in fibre cement sheets and using cladding for the external walls as there in a BAL rated zone. Does anyone know any wholesalers offering fair prices to trades as Bunnings and other hardwares are all similar prices and way too expensive.

If you get yourself a bunnings account and account manager you will get much cheaper prices.

Have you thought about using 19mm scyon or the 35mm ALPHA XCEM flooring?

But it depends on your clients budget. A cheaper alternative is to use 2 layers of yellowtongue and then sand down any damage at the end prior to floor coverings

Yellow Tongue really doesn’t hold up in wet conditions. We’ve been leaning toward fibre cement too for similar reasons, especially in BAL zones. You might have better luck checking with local building supply yards or even reaching out to reps from brands like James Hardie directly, they sometimes point you to trade-only stockists with better pricing than the big hardware chains.

Highly recommend Vendome Living. I’ve used them for building materials and the experience was excellent: https://vendomeliving.com/collections/building-materials"

How do their prices compare to trade accounts at places like Bowens or Mitre 10? Also curious if you've used their fibre cement sheets for any BAL-rated builds? I’m working on a similar setup and always keen to hear how different suppliers hold up on quality.
