What kind of timber is this?

Hi there.

I'm pulling up my old deck which contains about 400 linear metres of hardwood battens. A previous owner installed them, so I'm not exactly sure which native timber they used.

I've included a couple of photos. Here is a fresh cut:


And here is a split:


If anyone can help identify which timber it is, that would be great.
