Skylight facing west, sufficient light in mornings?

Hi guys,

I'd like to install velux window (with blinds and glazing) in my living room. Roof above is facing north. Would the skylight still provide sufficient natural light in the morning?

Thanks šŸ˜€
Yes, if the roof is facing north, then skylight should be also facing north?
I guess it should with some good insulation?

Sorry, skylight is facing west, not north. Will that provide sufficient light in the morning hrs?

It might be a bit darker in the mornings but the light is still light, so you should be getting it. Similar to what you see from your western windows
