public open space contribution

Does anyone know if when subdividing into 4 lots, is the public open space contribution worked out as percentage of the value of each individual block or the value of the land before it is split up?

This really depends on your local council.

Each one has different definitions and ways to calculate contributions. This is called a contribution plan.

Some contribution plans work off land value and others of the number of bedrooms being created and others have a formula for the number of people each lot can take. I have seen many different forms and formulas over the years.

Best to call your local duty planner and get some advice
