NCAT Order Breached

I am new to this forum so please bear with me.

An NCAT order was breach by our neighbour regarding a retaining wall dispute. He is the owner of a building company and he consented to paying half the cost to demolishing and installing a new wall. Our retaining wall was backfilled with sand and clay, the use of a bag pipe was there but with no aggregate. Due to this the wall leaned quite significantly as the wrong post was also used. He is unlicensed so fair trading couldn’t help us. We have a solicitor reviewing the order and we have asked them to enforce the money order. What are other people’s experience regarding enforcing a money order? Is it worth spending money on a legal representative to file all the documents (Writ, guarnishee and examination) as well as writing to our neighbour with some “legal” words?
