Services - what is this pit?

Hi there

Can anyone tell me what these pits are?? Located in the footpath in Elwood, Vic.

Is it possible they could be storm water? I think I’ve accounted for all other services.

Thanks

Extremely doubtful they are stormwater.

Take a walk and see if they are common. If so, then take a photo with you to the council.
Is there a HP painted on the road, or a HP sign on a nearby power pole or a white triangle painted on the road nearby?

If so, it’s a hydrant point
