changing house to dental and medical clinic

hi, anyone with experience for changing house to dental and medical centre.I want to do the changes myself (Owner builder)in the house, can i do it or it has to be registered builder only.
Anyone plz explain me the whole process how to do it (changing house to dental and medical clinic)

I think you should start by making an appointment with the development branch in your local council to have a chat with them.

Not sure how it works in your area, but you would normally need to get the zoning changed with your council first.
You can't simply change the use of a property from residential to commercial without making sure it's approved with council.
Your fit out is often dependent on the tenant.
A doctor's surgery is a very different fitout to a dentist.
Dentist fitout is usually more technical as well because there is more specialised equipment and plumbing.

If you are in Victoria you will need to develop architectural drawings and apply to the planning dept. of your local council.
If you get your planning permit then you will need a building permit.
You can get a registered builder or build as owner builder.
