I used to repair computer power supplies in the 80's that used high voltage DC switching transistors to do… What lighting would suit this room??trapeses are pretty bad at blowing bulbs in my experience. Voltage surges are not the greatest thing.

LED lights are fantastic, but only for highlighting things!
Personally, i wouldn't be using them to light up a room.

I must say, energy efficient downlights are the way of the future with the compact fluorescent globes. But they MUST be good quality lamps.
