For stairs we regulary supply Blackbutt, Sydney Blue Gum, Spotted Gum and Karri.
That being said, the people in Victoria don't have the easy availability of hard timbers… Which finish for our wooden floors??You can walk on it after 24 hours depending on drying conditions but you really want to keep 'heavy' traffic off it for 4 or 5 days. It will take that long for the fumes… Cost of solid timber flooring?If you source your own timber and arrange the sand & polish separately it may work out to be a bit cheaper.
