Thanks, Selina - I think we are going to stain them! They are well protected by eaves, so I am hoping maintenance won't be TOO bad Fingers crossed!

I have the same type crittall or steel casement windows in my home. The price seems pretty reasonable, the preparation for repainting it quite time consuming and dirty work.

BTW - the wheels can be adjusted on the ones you have, to make them harder to lift of the track. And you can get them re-meshed. Ed
