I'd go single and raise it so you don't get the western sun during the day in winter. I'd actually make the windows north facing in bedroom 4 and south facing in bedroom 3

Thanks Stewie, I spoke with the Windows supplier and they have advised they will supply us with a Compliance Letter stating the windows are to Basix requirements. Cheers
