Insulation and 5 star ratingNot sure if this helps as we are building with PD in Victoria. But FWIW, we put R2.0 batts in our contract. When the 5 star rating was done, they had to have 2.0 batts… loud a/c unitI think it has mostly to do where around the house it is mounted.
