Wouldnt you be better of mounting onto the trusses through the top of the roof, Gives you more space and means you can put any drainage back onto your roof if needed?

Yet another Decking Question (sorry I am a noob at all this)

Yet another Decking Question (sorry I am a noob at all this)

Could you fill under and lay cement ? Then lay tiles or something else on top. You'd need a wall around the fill. Often this is no dearer than wooden decks.
