There is no "uphill" to my slab. Nothing runs into it. The whole estate is flat, level 1 compacted fill. The concrete pathways are not 50mm over 1 metre because they are concrete, not natural soil or grass. What fool has 50mm concrete slope? Would be unusable. They are 25mm over 1 metre a...
Oh, and my concrete apron is about 1.5m to 1.8m around the house , mechanical fixed to the slab. Thanks Einstein.

Why not get a treatment for efflorescence, if it continues to come back or you notice other evidence, then request another inspection. Have a look when it rains as well and see where the water is trickling.

I just paid deposit to Metricon and they do not answer well.. I am so concerned to go for contract We selected Waterford 53 with lots of changes. We do not know how much cost for site work that it may be a lot and we may not even afford it. Read my post.....

Don't sign anything yet. Go and get your own soil test and go as deep as you can ie 3 metres or more down to natural if possible. Use the same engineer that Metricon use but you are the customer. Take that soil test BACK to Metricon and get a real fixed price quote and ask for discounts, you might b...

Get an independent inspection on your slab, even post pour it can still be assessed for issues. Check your waterproofing membrane , it should come all the way up the side of the slab.
