Winter light less the heat in summer. I think it is also the look that Iam trying to achieve for a cottage type llook.

We were also told that the cost included changes to the roof angles, to keep the roof height within council regs. You will get ripped off. They aren't going to provide upgrades at cost without a very good reason. You have to decide if the extra cost they charge is acceptable. Kinda like wanting that cold bottle of water from the fridge at a cost of $4 when everyone knows the wholesale cost is $0.60. Knowingly ...

Thanks JB1, hopefully I will get something soon from the builder. Definitely won't consider $18k!

Hi Ideally 2.7m is the preferred but preempting council requirement. Spoke to a planning officer and she stated they will look at adjoining properties. House ony right is definitely 2.7m or lower but house on left is > 3m. Just want to make sure I dont get ripped off for the upgrade. Cheers boosta
