Hi all, Just wondering if anyone out there has any information on types of carpet and its affect on asthma... I once read that because wool absorbs moisture from the air, it provides an environment more suitable for dustmites and thus nylon carpet was better if there was an asthmatic in the house......

Quite ironic really... Our builder wants to see proof that we can afford our project (about to sign on the dotted line...)... What proof does the customer get to ensure the builder doesn't go bust! I feel really sorry for all the Beechwood customers out there... If it wasn't already stressful enough...

Hi all, Reaching the end of the planning/selections stage (feels like an eternity!) and just discovered our builder won't let another flooring company install our solid timber flooring during construction... Something about insurance! Now, I wouldn't mind using their contractor, except their price, ...

Hi, Just wondering about wall insulation for a new brick veneer house... 1.5 rating pink batts to external walls already included as standard... Is there any advantage in also placing sarking to external walls between frame and bricks? Any thoughts... Thanx, A
