Hi gr8ly, thanks, the vertical herringbone is actually growing on me, though now I have been back today to look again, ive noticed the darker patches aren’t going away.. looks like two different batches of tiles. Sorry to hear about your staircase, it’s so hard sometimes to know if drafting underst...

Ohw no ☹️ you need to make a choice, can you live with the splash back like that or will it drive you nuts? If nuts is your answer then request the change to be as per your plans, Gr8ly is dead right you entitled to have what you selected. I do agree with Gr8ly and like it how it has been laid. It’...

So my beloved kitchen splash back went in today. Extremely disappointed.. tiler laid them vertically. I don’t even know what to do. I feel like it’s so rude of me to tell them to take it all up and re lay them horizontal how is says on our colour schedule, but I’m so upset about it. Fiancé says it’...

Concreting looks great! As tribe said, its probably councils fault. Ours is similar, but very sharp lines down the bottom as our builder did not want to go against the council restrictions. It basically tapers into a 1 car driveway, looks very odd. All our neighbours builders ignored it so they all...
It’s so annoying, not even sure why these restrictions are in place, not like it makes a difference to anyone else.. I’...

great idea on the extended front porch - looks great [emoji3] especially when your landscaping is done. Also loving your tile choice - looks so sleek. Has your SS given you an indication of PCI? Looking great Bree [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4] yes I see what you mean about the driveway it is a little narrow but it might have to be to suit your council requirements? We were able to get in today to have a look at the tiling, so exciting to see everything come together, I hope our ensuite isn't too dark, we will see! hey @breebarter - yes they will stay there, but will be painted. It won't look too bad once its done, although i think they should have just cladded on top of the door considering it is just that little area. Most of our cladding is also the same. So this week, tiles were started but no grouting yet, were meant to be finished yesterday however our tiler was taken off site to fix another Valeco job on the north side, so meant to be finished Tuesday or Wednesday now. Sinks were installed, stone bench tops, minus the back left side of the kitche...

Tiles, started today, unfortunately I have no pictures as it was getting dark and couldn't see through the windows much. So this is the outcome of the no bricking situation on the left hand side of the door. It is currently rendered above the door, with these wood bits over the top. Does anyone know...

@breebarter our front pier had to be completely replaced as it was warped - no doubt from standing in the elements since christmas. Materials being stolen onsite has meant delays in ordering in cladding as well... Not sure why they wouldn't work on other things while they are waiting for materials ...
They could be doing all the easy stuff, like you said the cornices. I really hope they catch up for you somewhere gr8ly...

This week didn’t go as planned, however something was bound to go wrong sooner or later! Wednesday, tiling was meant to start, met the tiler on site at 6am, he wanted to make sure everything was good to go before he started. Everything was good, chose grout colours, and then we realised the wrong ti...
