Yes but you will need to dig some holes and put something in to hold the trees back or they will get pushed down the hill by the water too

Try and find a spot that's got something solid where you can stand in the same spot time and time again to take photos so you have a series of photos through the build to look at as a timeline. Maybe a tree or something you can stand against?
