How did you know??? Ha ha. Yes. 'I'. Hmmm. Slab to frame was 2.5 weeks. That beautiful blue steel goes up fast when they start. Here is to ending up with gorgeous homes in the end. I do still have faith that Format are a good builder, but there are some elements of the customer experience they must...

Can anyone else share their experiences? We are building with Format. Paperwork stage was 10 months due to a useless 'Project Concierge' and useless council (god their new ad really pisses me off). Slab poured two weeks ago. haven't heard from anyone since. Communication is abysmal. Ive seen larger...

Thanks, saw your thread. It seems that they're pretty slow on the build. Still, i guess the upside is that hopefully they're focusing on getting it right rather than fast. The communication sounds frustrating however. Yeah, thats what they say... Slab was poured two weeks ago, frames to be delivere...

What are they doing under that beautiful window? They will put tiles, the same tiles going on our porch. Hope it looks alright! I've no idea if it just sticks out or will wrap around the misscoloured bricks but we will see. That will finish it off nicely. I love the cabinetry colour btw!

14.03.2019 Kitchen cabinets are in, woo! Wish I could get up close and see it all, hopefully this means the laundry cupboards are too. Front porch has screeding so will be fine once that's done and hopefully internal tiles start soon. https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/84081_1552626303.jpg https://foru...

Thanks Monkey55 We are still in the paperwork stages and trying to anticipate the costs that will be above and beyond our contract. We have built in some generous allowances however the increase to footings allowance makes me nervous that it will happen in more areas that we are anticipating. Thank...

Selections so far! Hi Monkey55 We are also in the process of a custom build with Format Homes. Hi Nicole, Was wondering if you have any comments so far on the sewer system? Any comments around installion by Alano water? I haven’t read much in regards to this in any of the current builds in Eden :) Good morning, I haven't heard much either. A lady a few houses up has already paid Alano and wi...

17.01.2019 Front is underway now, wooo! The back looks AMAZING and they just have to do the top half of our piers. We hope they will go back and fill in the little holes between some bricks though, time will tell. Our velux skylight has also gone in. https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/84081_1547760911....

We also have passed our first stage of council approval, now we just need to get our colour selections complete and we should be able to move forward to finalising o...
