We've gone for Pure White porcelain tiles and very dark grey carpets. The tiles were finished today and the carpets are being fitted on Monday. We'll take some photos and put them on here. Yeh we looked at all the big name builders and none of them came under our budget for 400k. Then simonds came along and ticked off all the boxes. House plan was perfect for us first home owners. It will be our home for atleast 5-10yrs then maybe build again lol... It was 130k, 22.5sq so we had 50k l...

Regarding the water bill.. for my builder, we had to pay..! It was like $97 for the whole build. I remember vaguely Simonds telling us on contract signing day that the water bill has to do with council and Rates or something like that. But for the electrical bill the builder pays up until handover. ...

We are also in vic and our Simonds build was 202k. House was $130k but we spend 50k on inclusions. Its 4bed 2 livings 2car garage 2bath and 2 toilets. Total 22.5sq and we fitted this all in our 370m2 block with a front of only 10m.... simonds rock!!!!! Land was $189k in a new estate. Really just sho...

Haha.... we have black Sambuca Roofs... we also have sarking all throughout our house so that helps with the heat a little i guess. Was pretty hot a few days ago and i remember coming home and saying to hubby how cool it felt inside than outside. but we live in victoria and heat dont affect us much ...

Ohhhh very nice .. nice indeed.... i think i need to get these hahah the ones we have atm.. the slim white one... i hate them. They look boring and very bland... but i love this type of industrial feel to it. !!! Sorry deluxes i just love ur style alot ...

Deluxes is right.. you have to call them and pushed them. I did call them a few times and made sure they recieved everything and made sure they booked in the valuation. I called the bank that fri and the lady said my file had been pushed back but i didnt accept it so she booked in valuations for the...

We have polished porcelain tiles 600x600 throughout our house. Its in Magestic Ivory. If it was me... i would leave the lounge and library as one open room. I remember stepping into the avalon for the first time and because of the openess and the amazing libary bookshelf they had on display it wowed me.. i was like omg woooooowww. I wish i had the money to built it hahe

Its about 45mins from the cbd. Dont drive during melbourne rush hours thats from 6am-10am and peak hours are from like 2pm-7ish. Traffic is bad here. And thats driving on the freeway... all the way to clyde north.

we live 15mins away from the clyde north display. I love love the house. You wont be disappointed. Its beautil. In the display they had a libary nook in front lounge and it looks amazing. Are you having the nook in the dining aswell?
