We are to have a landscaper out to do our front garden at sometime, and want to know what the best grass would be for our area, and how to prepare the sand. monkeyupatree, we haven't moved in yet. We are waiting for the floors to be done, about 4 weeks! This weekend we are going to start sealing the walls,fun! How is you house going? Monkey, yes, I'm building in Bertram :) Not too far from us...I am in Byford. I really like the green with the Geographe Limestone bricks....(but I dont like textured bricks!). We are also having the Karndean vinyl planks (pitch pine) for all areas except wet (tiles), beds and theatre (carpet). Tiles hurt my feet, and I am always dropping stuff which either breaks or the tiles chip. I also dont like the sound of boards, I have three noisy kids who would take great delight ...

We have red doors! :D Our red is called 'red box' by dulux, although the doors are a bit more redder than the colour chip. I still think it looks okay and it is different to everyone else, so far, in our estate.

We have quite a few, light bricks (2 course too I think), light roofs in our estate. Our fences are also harvest! :shock: Not building SOR are you? If you would like me to take some snaps of them for you I can do that. We will be out that way tomorrow painting...and the next day...and the next day.....

Oh, and children on school holidays equals a cheap / free labour source... utilise it! :lol: Hahaha you dont know my kids!!
